SerPrimo IGT is a full body red wine with smooth tannins. This baby Super Tuscan is very modern in style and yet, very much Tuscan in nature.


  • BLEND: Merlot 40%; Cabernet Sauvignon 40%; Sangiovese 20%
  • GRAPES: All varietals are hand-picked; the Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested early to maintain the aromatic profile
  • FERMENTATION: The grapes are fermented with native wild yeast strains in small batches. The majority of the grapes are placed in small stainless steel tanks and fermented naturally, the remaining 30% of the fruit is fermented under pressure in special vessels. Maceration continues for about 10 days after alcoholic fermentation is complete. After maceration, the wine is transferred into cement tanks for malolactic fermentation.
  • AGING: SerPrimo is aged for 6 months in French Oak barrels, 40% it's new French oak, and then bottle aged for 4 months before it is release.
